Default 2ltr zetec dry sump help

Hey guys,
I'm in the U.S. and have a bit of a problem. I'm running a titan dry sump on a zetec. I ordered the kit about 15 months ago, recently I just added oil and got the engine running.

I ordered the kit with the -12 flanged unions. I have these flanged unions going to -12 summit racing brand an fittings. ALL of the fittings the came with the pump leak, leak real bad. Everything else that I have used on the dry sump doesnt leak. This leaves me to believe that there is a discrepancy in the flanged unions. Looking at Titans site, it list the fitting as "-12 jic flanged union".

After reading on the internet some, AN fittings are interchangable but not always. I believe the -12 jic's might be 45 degree flare and AN's are 37 degree.

I'm at a lost what to do, I was going to just thread the fittings for 1/2" NPT and go on my way but it looks like the bodies of the pump are not thick enough to do this.

Here is a few pics:

thanks to anyone that can help!
