Ford Escort MK4 1.6L 1989 :D
well made a trip from Cheltenham to Somerset yesterday nice 100 odd mile drive with the family to pick up my first car! we got there and she was sat in a double garage, so my brother started her up and moved her out then started looking over her! 21 years old and shes mint! only 2 bits of rust on her, so we took it for a test drive down the road and again it was mint! 82000 on the clock all gears are still nice and tight. this car must of been owned by old people and then this lad bought it to sell on, so for £380 heres what i got!

LOL some kid i know took a dislike to my car and i said this yeah this is mint lets just stop now? bored of notifications.. aaron you think my cars shit but why would i care what you think.. to which he replied you shud care cuz next time you see your car on sunday youll have no windows..
all i can say to that is what a tool mainly for posting it on facebook and secondly for saying that because i asked why i should care what he thinks

As said does look very good for it's age, I had a mk4 1.8D slow as hell, to start with anyway!!, and had the worst headlights in history, nothing defective about them just crap design and output, so put in some 160/100 bulbs/relays job done, really liked the car.
Nice blue that think it's french blue ?

well decided even with its full history the cambelt was done at 71k but that was 10 years ago even if it only has 82k on it now were changing it anyway so the list iss
air filter
oil filter
oil
spark plugs
cam belt
thermostat
thermostat housing gaskets
fuel additives (just to make it run nice and smooth and clean)
oil additives (just to make it run nice and smooth and clean)
screen wash
new front and rear plates
that is just my first delivery theres a epic delivery to come next

okayy small update time!
today she went down to the workshop and had oil + filter change and put the clear side repeaters on, clear front indicators, took all the rear badges and side strips off and polished the black bumpers OH and put some EPIC orange side light bulbs in which dont show up very well on camera
but heres some pics anyway
she is going back down in 2 weeks for hopefully A BIG update

ohhh im leaving mine on... wow thats a new low i have never heard of! someone stealing the door strips LOL what a pikey
yeah i love it... did you know the bumpers are just WD40'd left to soak in the rubbed with a rag works a treat!

damn! its terrible what people will do these days, long gone are the days where your stuff was yours lol... were fitting an immobiliser to this and probs a full toad alarm as some little scrote will no doubt want what he cant afford

WD40 works great... for about 2 weeks! To keep them up permanently go over them with a heat gun, not too hot though!!
