A friend of mine is looking at a Mk6 RS2000 with drum brakes on the back.I've told him it's not a real RS but the guy selling it swears it is.He claims that in '95 Ford did this in an effort to reduce costs???
The seller is asking enough money for the car,there's no way Ford made these with rear drums,is there???

they came with rear drums if the abs option was fitted, the only ones with rear discs and abs are the 4x4 versions,

the 95 bit is rubbish, ull find some with and some without.

Pumaspeed do a conversion kit for the escort that lets you keep the rear ABS, but have discs instead, its quite pricey though.

MIne had drums on the back, which were sh1t!

So I can converted it to discs!
