Default A Dutch Ka owner

Hi to you all,

I don't know how many Ka owners there are on this forum, but I thought I'd give it a go, and post something.

I'm a 23 (24 on next Wednesday) year old guy from a little village in the south of Holland, and I came by this forum and saw a lot of enthusiastic Ford owners. I'm a member of the Dutch Ka-Club, and there was a link on our forum to a topic in here, in which a bloke turns a damaged Ka into a new one, it's here http://passionford.webheberg.com/for...ic.php?t=22658

Well, really cool what that guy did, but I was wondering what people here think of my Ka. It's a 2001 model, and I bought it at my work. I work at a Ford dealer here, and it used to be a rental car, but after a few months, another car crashed into it, so I could buy it very cheap. Well, together with my dad, who is a mechanic, and a friend of him who owns a garage, we turned it into this...

Looks nice Mate.
But those rims look like 14 inchers, not?
Me thinks bigger rims 15 or 16 would give your car just that little extra.

Yeah,

these are 14 inchers indeed. Got them with the car, and well, I like them but they are a bit too small. But what I like about 'em is that the tyres are a bit wide, so the edge of the rims doesn't hit the kerb while you park, only the side of the tyres. Considering this, it isn't a miracle that I haven't damaged my rims during parking yet, with these fuckin' high kerbs here in Holland.
