Remove the glovebox, there will be a switch on the left handside, push the button in then switch on the ignition, turn off and the light should go off.

Ign to AUX, remove glove box, switch on left ( picture of a spanner on it ) hold for 4 secs, turn of ign turn back on, Aux panel will light up ( self test ) then the lights will extinguish ( had 4 Ghia X's V6 amd 2.0 L ) HTH Si.

OR

in the bottom right hand side of the Aux Warning panel, should be a little hole, get a pin and stick it in ( this is the reset button for MK 2 mondeos )

Check the hand brake switch as well as the front pad wear sensors as they both power that light.

This is on mk2 mondeos? I got a v6 ghia X V reg, never noticed any service or brake warning lights!?!

Are these on the "doors open" panel that the earlier models have? Mine is a late model with the climate control but just has a coin tray.

Hi! Essex boy racer jo here just letting you know that if you have a coin holder on the dash you wont have the picture of the car and warning lights, but would have thought you would have as you have got a mk2 ghia X as I have it and have got the mk1 ghia.

I've noticed the later mk2s that have climate control rather than just air con don't have the warning lights in the coin tray. I'm yet to see one that does.
