Exclamation Sierra 2.0i DOHC performance upgrade suggestions?

Hi, new guy here

So I recently inherited an old 91 sierra that has been in the family longer than me. Amazed with the reliability, after sitting still through 2 winters it managed to start on the first try!

Currently the engine produces about 110-120bhp, how could I make this number slightly bigger?

not looking for anything crazy, just add a fewty bhp

Currently in the car resides an old N9E 8v 2.0i DOHC engine, replace or upgrade, maybe turbo?

Ive heard that engine conversions are popular with these cars, what would you guys suggest for my particular model? A pinto, zetec, duratec??

Any help would be appreciated

2.0 efi pinto 205 block then keep mt75 gearbox as its stronger than type 9 then save up buy some yb conrods ,yb pistons new bearings sort out a turbo manifold garrett t3 turbo will be ok then ignition stuff and fueling system preety much thats it you can even turbo a pinto with std internals up to i think its about 190bhp witch is a lot of difference as most on here will tell ya 20 bhp difference makes a lot when doing a budget build
and installing it it will fit straight onto the mounts you have so all good only thing youll need to change will be possibly power steering rack as most pintos had non power steering but you can find a pinto with power steering iv opted to not have it im going to try out a quick rack instead

Ok seems straightforward, can I just lob the pinto in or what ECU/ignition trouble can I expect? Is there a tut anywhere? Also what mpg can i expect with that setup?
