Fuel system setup
Hi
i am running a 400bhp Yb in my MK1 escort, which is fed by a 044 fuel pump, which is being fed by a swirl pot, with a return back into the swirl pot.
The swirl pot is being fed from the main tank by a Facet redtop, then a return back into the main tank....
The 044 fuel pump is being fed from the ECU which on ignition 1 gives a small prime of fuel as does the facet pump...
My question is should the facet be started / run on ignition 1
Also the facet seems to be working hard rarther than a tick like when its under pressure...I am sure this is because its running a circuit which is open return back to tank, is this correct.....
Help or advise please.
