Yes mate per person. If you want to run it's £30 1 day or £50 both. Total of £80 for weekend. Make sure you have plenty of fuel if you do run

If we get enough to enter we'll be running the old skool vs new skool event. This includes a Cosworth vs FRS challenge.
If you know of any owners that would be up for this let them know and give me a shout and I'll put the names and reg down

Cheers

As it sounds like a bit of a re-union I expect I will pop up in case Rodney needs someone to give him a hand round with his zimmerframe.

Only got trackday cars on the road at the moment though, nothing worth running up the strip so will just spectate.

Blimey
All you lads booking up the hotels cant get 2 nights in York in July, well at least not where you would dare park your car. Leeds Yes, Shefield Yes. Hull Yes, York NO!. Looks like a Premier Inn for me & the Missus then.
The Zimmer will have a service before then Chip so should be OK, now if it was your lady offering to help .
Look forward to seeing you Helen I hope your English we taught you has not slipped back to Geordie .

Hi
I have put up a trophy & prize for fastest Terminal by a RS Cosworth.
Problem is ive no idea how that data can be collated . Its difficult as i really would not have done this if I had known sponsors were involved. Maybe its best if i leave any prizes to the Sponsors & just attend as a spectator.
Cheers Rod

Shouldn't be hard to sort out rod. I am sure the staff would be more than willing to help. Plus they now have s digital timing screen that everyone can see.

Rod it's totally your decision, the gesture is greatly received and I'm sure everyone else involved appreciates your generosity. Do not feel you are obliged in any way to help out, as the idea was my own and although I respect the offer I have tried to get sponsors to help out for mutual benefits and not for you alone to put your own hand in your wallet. Need2insure are supplying trophies, PF are covering advertisement and Boost Junkies are supplying banners for Passionford for us to use between all events. Your prize would be accompanied by a trophy in your name that I would personally fund, but in all fairness just you turning up is enough to get the old cossies out to show off

Exactly this. The track is fully timed and intergrated. Every driver gets their times printed after the run. So in the cossie runs the terminal speeds will be taken down in the tower and when all runs are completed the winner announced.

For those that have not been before the entrance road is crap. We know it and there's no point complaining about it. Just take it slow and it's fine. The track is as fast as shakey or pod in all respects. A couple of cars over the last weekend got personal bests on there first trip to York.

Thank you Rod I've put everything into this to put on a decent show for folk. And also York have gone miles out of their way to help out as much as they can. We even had 2 other ford clubs wanting to attend. Tyne & ware RSOC and Humberside STOC. Ben Morley Emailed me today to ask a few details as the image above will be in the mag along with a small passage. Either way, we're nearly at the date and everyone involved has been brilliant about the idea. Hopefully we can make an impact for people to attend on further years all being well. Thanks again Rod

3 long years since i last drove the Cossie. Im 70 next year & the plans are to run it again around that date. Ive done my bit to develop the Cosworth its now down to the next generation. Im afraid i prefer the class of the Merc to a Ford these days must be getting old .

I cant see it being a problem if you want to come with us Rod as there will only be 4 or 5 of us, so one more won't hurt

We are BoostJunky Stand but will only be there on the Sunday because of work

Rod don't worry bout parking mate you can sit it with PF.
No probs Sinbad. I spoke to him on FB the other day and told him I'm going down on the Friday to organise the layout due to other clubs coming and going etc. but all is well and plenty of space is available to all.
