Tech question for anyone thats used a car radio in the US, is their frequency range the same as ours on FM now ? for instance ours is 87-108 approx as I remember buying a camaro years back that had a FM radio in it that only went up to low 90s, as Im helping a mate install a period looking correct stereo in his formula 400 so need to import one from the states but if there frequency range is not the same as ours there will be no point

Same band plan, with modern US FM broadcasting going from 87.5-108MHz. There are some slight differences with channel bandwiths etc, but in essence it should work fine in a good reception area.

yeah I had a radio setup at work the other day running 104.1 no problem
