...Might not sound all that impressive...
...Untill I tell you that the vehicle weight is 240 kg's wet and it only has one driven wheel...
On the verge of purchasing new toy, fingers crossed...!

Oh allright then...
I've had lots of silly bikes in the past but I sorta told myself 'no more' after I had three minor strokes last year which were not bike-related but did scare the shit out of me and changed quite a bit for me.
So after they declared me fit to ride again I kept to Harley's as I love them and they tend not to be much good for spirited riding.
But I just couldn't help myself so I'm in the proces of doing a deal with a reluctant seller (hence the 99% there!) on a GSX1100 FE fitted with a Turbonetics T3/4 rollerbearing turbo, lengthened swingarm, airshifter, convertible multi stage lock up and slider clutch...
So basicly a full on dragbike BUT which is roadlegal!!! Well...sort of...
It has a rather fancy AMS boost controller and loads of other trick bits and it's in showroom condition which is quite odd for a racebike I guess.
Proper oldschool hooligan machine and a great toy for tinkering with over winter time, improving little things here and there!
Pics when it's here (so fingers crossed he doesn't pull out, although he's a sound bloke so I don't think he will)

The thing is, you could get it to behave very docile if only it was a blow-through system but alas...it's a draw through system!
It can make a lot more power if I'd switch to a larger carb but then it would be very, very hard to control on the street because due to the type of system it behaves like a large 2-stroke like a CR500: it grumbles a bit on part throttle, then clears it's throat and fucks off when you give a handfull.
The boostcontrol per gear, per stagetiming is all very trick, it also has a low boost button where it bleeds off almost all the boost and a full boost override button that override the boostcontroller to give maximum boost as long as the button is pressed.
There are several carbs with it, the idea is to set up on for roaduse only so less power but best roadmanners and one for big numbers on the dyno and I expect to see approx.350 ATW from that.
