I was in my local dealer on Saturday and he mentioned that they were one of few dealers getting one of these bikes as a demonstrator and subsequently I am booked for a test ride at the end of April..

I love the looks of it and with the GSX R engine from 2008 it should be 'entertaining'

The Dealer is called Pro Bike in Newbury and the time they have the bike is Monday 27th April until Thursday the 30th April..

Plenty of spaces left at the moment if you're local and fancy a test ride..

I was at are local bike shop the other day getting some tyre levers. There Yamaha and in the front of the showroom with a sold sticker on it was a brand new r1! 15 grand lol. Amazing looking bike and said to be the best super bike

Yeah this place is a Yamaha / Suzuki dealer so they had a couple of new R1s in, one blue and one red..

I couldnt get over how small they are, size of a small 600.. amazing package..

Yamaha have moved the game on again with this bike..

MCN test also puts it way ahead of the new BMW S1000 and all the offering from the other jap manufacturers.. but 15K..

just see your talking about pro bike! There my local Suzuki dealer. They did the master cylinder re call on my k6 1000
