Decent winter wear
Yeah, I know it's only August. Has anyone braved the last couple of winters riding?
Just wondered how you managed to stay dry and warm and in what gear. I doubt mine will be up to it so looking for some tried and tested stuff.

last year around this time i spent a good chunk on winter gear I bought a Held 2 piece goretex suit some revit apache boots and a pair of held freezer gloves these are excellant and i'm now never cold on the bike and you can wear the boots and suit in the summer with the removable thermal liners in the suit.
I also bought a pair gerbing heated gloves and they really do rock with the battery packs i bought these rather than heated grips as i have 2 bikes.

I love my motorbikes but couldn't be arsed to ride in the cold. once went for a blast on my old r1 a good few years ago just after Christmas. I got from Basingstoke to hook then had to stop as could no longer feel my hands lol
