Default any motorbike owners on here

just wondering if any bike owners on here have fitted a gear indicator to their bikes?
ive just bought a 1998 cbr 600 f3 from my mate whos owned it since new (only done 11k) and i fancy fiting a gear indicator as my mates bike has one which was already fitted when he bought and after having a blast on his bike i think theyre a great idea, so im wondering if anyone could tell me which is the best and hopefully easiest one to fit, thanks for any help here.

I don't really see the need for one to be honest.

Once you have a feel for the bike you generally know with the speed/revs what gear you are in?

I had a fireblade with one and I never looked at it.

the only reason to have one imo is to stop you going for the mythical 7th gear

Never seen the point myself either
I love old fireblades
I've had an rrn for and while and an rrt for some time but last weekend bought a 93 rrp with 31k
Totally standard bar the paint but i think it was a factory special

When poodling along I sometimes try and change into 7th, but when I'm riding her how she should be ridden you sort of realise what gear you're in - I've got a RR-2 (also called RR-Z)
