Are cans getting longer again?
This was my ZX10 one, it came as a package from the dealer so I didn't choose it.

Do you know that 99% of moto gp and world superbike exhausts are made by akrapovic even when they have other brands stickers on them.
Akrapovic wins hands down to quality especially compared to the american yoshis which are a bit blingy. The jap yoshi's are nicer imo.

Each to their own....

Looks are opinion and think both the s1000rr and 10r look modern where as the gixxer looks near on the same as a k5 and near identicle as a k7.
Each to there own like you say but fact is its probably the worst most outdated thou out there at the moment with the blade a close second

Because the gixxer thou is so outdated compared to the rest its not even worth consiering spending so much cash on. BIG updates in the past 5 years have been brembo front brakes lol Hardly evolution is it.

The gsxr is very good looking bike other than the standard cans which is the case on most bikes!

I think ppl will stick to what they own/have owned and every other bike out there is shit in their eyes.
Yes the zx10 is blisteringly fast, and the bmw has the tech. I just like the gsxr always have. Riders never needed traction control, anti wheelie etc before. It just bumps the prices up on bikes

That's exactly what people do they rate what they have or won't! To be fair most people can't ride any wear near the limits of a 1000cc bike so any modern one will be a good buy.
Also makes me laugh how people slate the cbr but it owns the tt as a 600 and a 1000 so can't be that bad lol

And it makes me laugh how people compare a full on superbike blade with a road bike when they probably share no more than the crank cases.
As for people rating what they have and slating others your right a lot of the gixxer fan boys seem to be massivly blinkered like most rs boffins are. I have owned a vast array of bikes and try to pick best in class rather than my prefered brand. I think the fact that i own a bmw sort of proves that as there not exactly the most fashionable motorcycle brand about are they.
I never once said the gsxr was shite i just said it was the worst litre bike out there closely followed by the blade. Tbh the r1 isnt that good either and the reason the bmw and kawasaki are so far ahead is because they have been improved massivly over tyhe past 2 years with the all new 10r coming out in 2011 i think and the updated s1000rr in 2012. The blade is near on the same bike it was in 2007, the r1 the same as it was in 2009 and the gixxer has had no major changes since probably 2007.
The gisxxer thou isnt shit its just nowhere near as good as the competition.
All i will say is if you havent been on a new s1000rr or zx10r you cant really compent as you really cant appreciate how far ahead of the competition they really are

One of the big 1000cc races in the tt is on almost stock bikes still owned by the cbr!
I like all bikes! I pick up a husky 610 tomorrow I even have a raleigh wisp lol
But 1000cc bikes are a hard field to judge on the road there all good fast bikes really it's more down to taste

hmmm i agree with you on taste and its a matter of opinion but facts are facts and taste or opinion cant argue with that.
As for race results with the blade on stockers you will probably find that if you looked beyond the tt you would find the 10r is the bike of choice with most racers. Top 6 super stockers were 3 blades 3 10r's with just over 2 mins between them all so they hardly walked away with it did they. That and the fact johnson managed to go quicker on a 10r than mcguiness did on a blade says a lot really doesnt it.

Me to which is why i ended up with the bmw after a few other bikes.
My bmw is for sale but my problem is there is nothing i could replace it with really so i might just get something cheap and cheerfull instead or maybe even something like a 2008 r6 cause its fun making people wonder why there litre bike cant go as quickly as a poxy 600.

Iv got the cbr1000rr 2012, love the bike test road the bmw thats a lovely bike to but wasnt for me to much technology in terms of anti wheels and traction control... if a bike wants to come up I dont want a bike telling me its not allowing it happen.... also my dads boss races bikes he has had all three bikes cbr1000rr, zx10r, bmw s1000rr and went back to the cbr1000rr.....
Its down to what people prefer some like to fallow the crowd some like to be different and stick to what the know best... personally im honda man...always been in to honda so will stick with them...

as per electronics you can buy them without the electronics you know? Or even in slick mode there is no anti wheelie for 10 seconds or so and the traction is eased off enough to allow the rear to slide about.
