Default Quick question regarding Moped brake light

Hi, I know this is a car forum but hopefully someone has some experience!

Been given a beaten up Moped that I am getting ready for the MOT.

When the brake is operated whilst lights are on, the brake light come on and the main light goes out, then when take brakes off the brake light goes out and main light comes back on. Is this normal on a scooter???

Cheers,

Gordy

Duff battery plus low charge rate of a riddle engine and yet you will sacrifice a bulb for another
Get a good battery on it and make sure its charging plenty
My fireblade charge is shot so much so if I ride at night the lights will dim after 20 mins
It's a git but I don't ride now and ill get an upgraded reg when I get it back to good again
