My mate offered me this and as i rarely take the Mille out if its overcast, let alone wet/raining , so I tucked the Mille away till next spring and bought this
He's owned it since new, CBR1000RR5, with a Micron can, K&N filter, power commander and set up on rollers for a not too shy 172bhp
So much easier to ride than the Mille, and doesn't feel like I've been wrestling a tiger when i get to work.
Bonus is i don't wake the whole street up at 0630

Yeah its a 2001 Mille RSV-R with all the fancy Ohlins, OZ wheels and carbon bits as standard. Even with the Aprilia race can and matching chip, it only made 126bhp, so the Blade is going to own it
I've had it since 2003 and been to Valencia and Le-Mans on it to watch Moto GP
Apart from the infamous sprag clutch failure about 4 years ago its been faultless. Eats a battery every year but thats a small price to pay for the fun it is to ride
