Default Just got me bike back from mapping

Just got my bike back today from mapping well chuffed with the results. Took it to Shaun Muir Racing in North Yorkshire and can 100% recomend them they've been bang on. Got it all mapped and got a quickshifter fitted and set up while i was at it.

It made 175bhp at the rear hoop and 80 odd lb/ft of torque cant remember exactly how much.

The bike is a 2010 r1 with the following mods

Yoshi r77 cans with decat
k&n filter
Power commander 5
completly standard motor

Sounds good mate, you need some dry roads to test it out on now. I use John Warrington Motorcylces in Malton for tuning/setting up my bike. One to bear in mind incase you need another option bud

Haha fair do's. Where they based mate? They got a website? John used to have a lot to do with the BSB bikes and does stuff with the top speed bikes among many other things so he has decent credentials and he's an old boy too so has years of experience under his belt as well.

About a mile from where you bought my old cossie from. Its right in the middle of guisborough but you wouldnt know it was there if you didnt know about it.

Going to get me track bike up there in the new year and get that sorted ready for next years season.

Sounds like a decent rwhp but i must say i never understand people who say they would kill them self on a bike, WHY???? it only goes as fast as you twist the grip...

Like owning a gun saying "wow i cant own that i would shoot myself????"

Anyway, sweet r1 power.

Really? Awesome, Ill bear them in mind for future .
My old 4XV R1 is 149bhp at the rear, its a standard motor internally still. The old thing doesnt go too bad for what it is though, arse dyno can feel its got loads of mid range grunt now and more at the top end too.

Lol @ Chip, bit of weight on them doesnt slow them down that much. The R1 and Hayabusa still make the numbers rise quite quickly with my 18+ stone on them
