I usually just put it in the garage and leave it there, go in and start it up no and again, this year i'm going to get it up on stands and take all the fairings off and give it a proper clean cause i got caught out in the rain a few times and its filthy

DECODING JIBBA JABBA!!
Mines been parked up since i got back from the ring last oct. i usally just take the battery off and leave on trickle charger and put bike on front and rear paddock stands.
this year it's been completely stripped down and the frame cleaned down and all the fairings painted.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
I kept mine on an optimate, resting on front and rear paddock stands and covered with a soft dust sheet..
every couple of weeks start it up, let it warm up, run it up and down the gearbox a couple of times to keep everything internal coated in oil and stop the clutch being sat in oil in the same place and that was it.
before you put it way give it a good clean, make sure everything is dry and lube the chain, maybe a little more generously than you might if you were riding it. Some people buy a spray on oil to put over metal parts but I never bothered TBH, I guess it depends how damp your garage is.
If you don't have front and rear stands pump the tyres up really hard to stop them flat spotting but I'd still roll it out and back in again every so often to it's on different part of the tyre.

Sorned my 2,
Gave them both a good clean and polish, up on the stands and covered, will run them every couple of weeks for a good 20 mins or so to keep things tidy, If we get a less snowy January I may strip, freshen and rebuild the GSXR engine.
