its johns race bike so its just a cheaper take on the rothmans paint job in case the bike gets thrown down the track,which it did at cadwell park 2 days after that photo was taken.your blades the proper rothmans and looks very nice mate

looks really nice m8,i used to race a cbr600 steel frame,but it just costs 2 much so sold it and bought me fezzer turbo

got an update on the nsr in case anyones interested,the engines out and treated to a full rebuild with every bearing and seal new.had the cases vapour blasted and best Ł60 ive spent.the cranks been balanced and fully tuned up by my mate dan who races an nsr and does very well.managed to get hold of a pukka hrc straight cut/close ratio gearbox as well,which are very rare.

slight update with the bike,ive been getting it legal for racing and have also got a seat unit that the bike is going to be a replica of.bloody hard to track one down and i now dont have to worry now about smashing up the carbon seat when its on track and racing

it will be in the formula 250 class mate,and i used to race a little honda rs 125 years ago,i will be a bit track rusty but should get back on the pace pretty easily,i hope ha ha

yes its a wee bit expensive to race now,it will just be the odd race meeting to be honest as i cant afford to race full time again.a few of my mates race with the derby pheonix club so i will be doing some with them and some at darley moor which is the nearest track to me and i won there a few moons ago

got some pics from donnington the other day,my nsr wasnt there as still waiting for a few bits.my mates were on nsr 250's and a couple of honda rs 250's,the day went spot on weather wise and no major incidents,but johns race bike did get a bit poorly so was put away in the van,thats him pictured wheeling it away

ive finally found the time to sort out a few bits that needed doing to the bike before the weather got to cold,i still to sort a few bits out and need to get the r6 forks to maxton to be set up for the lighter nsr and my weight,but getting there slowly
