chain lube
front and rear paddock stands
pump and digital tyre pressure gauge
a decent chain and ground anchor probably not a bad idea too

Depending on how far you want to take your maintanance i'd probably buy a front paddock stand that goes in the bottom of the yokes so you can remove your forks.

But the usual stuff you need is
chain lube
proper tool to remove front and rear spindles ie big allen key or socket depending on bike
some good cleaning products(much harder to clean properly than a car)

Then keep am eye on
tyres both pressure and wear
chain tension
all fluids
and generally have a 2 min look over the bike before every ride

What i have in mine,

Rear Paddock Stand
Couple of tins of Chain Lube (Wurth Dry film chain lube)
Tyre pressure gauge
Spare oil in case it needs topped up
Leagal sized number plate
Bike Oil Filter tool
Mechanic by trade so have all the tools required
Multi Meter
Battery conditioner
Loads of cleaning stuff
Small circle of carpet for under the front tyre while it's laid up through winter

Loads more like spare tyres / indicators etc but they are not what id call essential.
