some absolutley gorgeus models there guys

ive just started to get into this and got my first model for xmas..

im wanting to mod it..ie better wheels (say some flat 5 spokes) and maybe repaint..(imperial blue?)
is there any how to guides on taking them apart or is it self explanatory etc?? are they fairly easy to do (strip and rebuild?)
any links to where i can buy accessorys?
is it just 1:18 models that can be modded? (mines 1:24)
ideally i want a collection of mk1,mk2,mk4,mk5,mk6,and wrc escorts.and maybe rs focus and st (if available?)

Is that a Technics setup? I've got the older black and gold version with the 5 disc changer. Had it years and it still works good as Gold

The minilites come from Germany, those are to fit 1:18 models but you can get others

i almost forgot i did a little bit of paintin on it
2 day ( this is where my OLD warhammer days helps

)
painted the gearbox, diff, feul lines, crossmembes ect ect
hopefully will do a bit of paint in the engine bay next
