well its got the exhuast system, superchip and air filter. Its still on the standard motorcraft ecu. But its done 100k but got a receipt for a new turbo when the car had done 50k, but ive checked play in shaft and monitored its sounds and gas colour but they seem to be sound, me bro andy also had a scan and seems think its a good one. its got old printouts at 177hp, so it should go alright, but just seams a bit sluggish 90 onwards :S

All depends how many miles the turbo's done mate, if its a 70k+ turbo then be careful mate, you dont want to do an oil seal or shred a blade into the engine. What power you running now, you on standard ECU? There's a simple mod on a standard RST to take it to 165-ish

thought that, do u rekon 15 psi on a t3 is safe enough after a decent tune up? know that the t3 can run 14psi but just dont want to push it if the car getsmore power with a map.

Hard to say mate, i know mine ran lovely with a descent chip and 18psi through it, could do with having it tuned properly, RST's are renowned for "dropping out of tune" i use to have mine done at least once a year, if not every 6 months.

cheers mate, thinking of that, then cleaning underneath with fresh coat then a full respray around christmas time in original white. Would you have any idea why a tuned RS would start to somewhat feel like to leen out around top end of 90, but it rips the clock to 90 :S i dont know wether it could be the map, or 11 psi leaning it out? cheers pal, Mat

Yeah i had serious tin worm in the sills and rear arches as well as the floor pan's not the best look! Took it to "Tim's" garage in sandycroft, doesnt look much of a place, but trust me mate the lad there is one of the best welders i've ever seen! He did an amazing job on my cossie all for £235! And in 2 days too! His number is 01244 537475 give him a call pal.

The spark plugs did the job mate, £13 quid from ford, so was chuffed. Give it a a oil and filter change so its got some new blood in it now. Andy was saying about the condition of your cossie prior to the welding being done. You wouldn't happen to have the number to the lad who did yours mate, thinking of getting me Rs done. Cheers, Mat

Cheers mate, im only running around 12psi which is plentyfull so spent all day yesterday checking the pump wiring, did get the pump running a lot faster after we'd cleared the wiring of all rubbish joins and wrong wire. But it hasnt cleared the missfire, but i think the plugs seem the best option as the price is only 8 quid a set. Will get a set this week and tell you if it clears the dreaded missfire, cheers mat
