can anyone help me with my series 2 rs turbo problem my metering unit fucked up so i got another one fitted it and it had fuel coming out the top but its full of air bubbles tried another metering unit from a running car and its doing the same the injector lines are whining really badly (take thats the air) tried running 2 gallon of fuel through the metering unit and the cold start line but its no better any ideas ?

can anyone help me ive bought a 1988 escort rs turbo with the MFI fuel injection bought it as a non runner thinking i could sort it easy (1st mistake) as ive owned 4 in the past and im pretty good with the old cvh,its not getting fuel at the injectors the fuel pump is priming ,theres fuel pressure before the metering unit and after it but nothing coming out the top. the flap bobs up and down fine when you turn it over and theres power to the 2 plugs going to the metering unit when you turn the engine also ive tried a second hand unit and its still the same (it could be fucked also) this is turning out to be expensive and my dream of tearing down the 1/4 mile at crail in 14 seconds is becoming more and more faint any help would be greatly appreciated ,cheers matty
