Right.... if you installed the nokia handsfree kit what did you actually do?

The mic and speaker inputs should have been the same and the coloured wires the same.. ie red, blue black and yellow.

If you just swapped all the connections over you'd have been fine- but forget the screen the likely hood of it coming up on the screen is slim to none.

As for the ipod stuff.. Dension is by far the best... but again to interface with the M5 screen is unlikely.

When these things were invented handsfree's in cars were very basic and blue tooth wasn't invented- you'd be lucky if it muted.

Let me know how you installed it and I'll work out whats gone wrong.

Hi mate only just noticed t replied to my thread asking about picking your brains about my handsfree kit lol

Right problem i have is on my M5 it came with a nokia in car cradle thing etc but was the old long type phone so no good for my N95 8g. Have purchased a nokia hands free kit off e bay and installed it. Everything seems to work apart from the screen is not picking up the Phone ( should it ???? ) and when actually using the phone got no sound out of speakers etc so basically i'm not using it as it dont work properly lol

Any ideas mate ???

also can you recommend a good way of using my i pod with all the factory tv widescreen etc etc. heard of the dension gateway which is supposed to be the bollox but aint heard whether it will show i pod sing titles etc etc on screen ???
