    Assuming the roof opening is the same, it depends on who you speak to but the glass bit is the same on all cars form that era, it's just the sliding mechanisms splined bit is longer or shorter, i can't remember which, on the granada so it either doesn't poke out enough to get the sierra's handle/winder to fit or it's too long

    there are also 2 different types of spline, ealry and later, the early one has corse splines and the later has fine splines

    that said, some people have said that they've done a straight forward swap by simply unscrewing the whole mechanism from a granada and then screwing it into the seirra, while in my personal experience, this doesn't work

    not that they won't fit, you just need to do a bit of fiddling to make it work

    also, if the cables have jumped out of their holders, the roof is screwed as when you put tension on the cables they will jump out rather than move back and forth
