Hey Si I stupidly filled up with unleaded at the BP along from yours without thinking until I noticed it pinking slightly on boost at high revs down the motorway home. Is it ok to run an octane booster from halfrauds or can I mark the dizzy where you have set it and retard it until I can rune some V power back in it?

I would use the ST170 piston, its forged and of a good design. Got 4 250-300bhp ZVH engines out there with no issues.

Sorry to bother you and i hope this doesnt bore you but I would like to ask you a few questions about st170 bottom end. My local engine builder uesd to build zvh using st170 bottom ends but 8-9 years ago I could never afford 1. But over the years have been building 1 myself. Today was reading the new fast ford mag, a little artical about your zvh's. Ive had the rods shot pinned smooth and arps ready to be fitted and was going with a callibra turbo pistons. Basically should I bother with the calibra ones or do you suggest sticking to the forged st170 pistons? Wont give you the full list of engine spec as this will bore you but its got everything you could think of but still running mfi with a 250 bhp chipped ecu. Many thanks
