I read that but he also says he will take a part exchange so how come he can find room for the part ex but not the Focus.
Would be interesting to know. There always seems to be a few for sale but i would have thought this would have been the RS 500 to have especially if you are a serious Ford RS collector like Bonkers.

When I seen it I thought I had seen 001 before being ragged around the ring. Theres a post on rsoc about how many have 001 plaque. Press release cars etc.

I imagine he can take a part-ex as he owns a big car dealership. Think he means he hasn't got room in his 'museum/display', but it's unlikely he's going to take a car worthy of his private collection in part-ex.

Possibly not but it's forward thinking. No one expected half the cars that are currently worth a lot to be as collectible as they are.

if you order the rs500 badges or the st500 badges ( need serial number and only 1 replacement per car) then the badge will come in as 1/500 as we have a fiesta st500 badge at work ordered for a staff member whos car was then written off

i've been in/worked on several fiesta st500's
and they were all badged up as 001/500
i'm sure the fiesta are all the same and say 001/500
i'm pretty sure theres been a couple threads on here about it before
because people think they own something special(no 1)

Every single Focus RS500 is badged 1/500, same with the Fiesta ST500 and Focus ST500, they are all badged 1/500, regardless of what order they rolled off the production line.

I thought Bonkers of all people would've known this?

as said we ordered a badge and it came in 1/500 so basically bonkers might have realised this and flogged the car to get rid but kept quiet about it as to get 1/500 is VERY rare considering ford realise the value and some directors had the RS500 as one of there 3 allowed company cars,,,, but thats another winge from me lol
