Having acquired a rather tasty domain name lately I'm launching a new dedicated Focus ST website, and am currently opening the doors to a select few founding members. Stoc is way too serious. You aren't even allowed to say cock without the swear filter blanking it out. Bypass the swear filter and you get a lifetime ban! All they talk about on there is led sidelight bulbs and other niff naff crap. As long as its like passionford where we call each other coonts then it'll be good!

STOC has a great bunch of members who are always only too willing to help each other out, as for being clicky and up its own arse, spose it depends on who you are and how you participate if your a twat and talk bullshit then people ignore you like every day life

The guys on there are very knowledgeable and we don't just talk about LED lights

You can probably count the amount of technical minded people of the STOC forum with one hand, seriously, some of the 'knowledge' dispensed by some members is awful. It just seems to be a post count competition. If you have the highest post count on the topic then it is your advice over every one elses. There is zero banter on the forum, just like going for tea with the vicar! Don't get me wrong, I still post on there as there is some stuff that interests me and you can eventually find answers to your questions, just need to take what you read with a pinch of salt really instead of being gospel.

You should come to a meet, we have a very good bunch of lads that are always only too happy to help with anything and the banter is no different to any other forum, well the Essex side does anyway.

I think its more a case of thats its one of the longer running focus ST sites that others are trying to compete with and simply can't as its been running far too long.

The site is now open, so if you've got a Focus ST feel free to come say hello. I've opened it to allow Google in for some indexing, and also to test things out, make sure everything works etc.

Focus.ST is 100% free to use. We don't charge for access to the forums, to buy/sell items cars etc, it really is 100% free to use. It's a community built for the members, rather than for the profit! (Plus I want to put that domain name to good use!!)

Please spread the word on any other ST websites you may frequent!

Having just been on the STOC I can't find anything about LED's but we do tend to keep the keyboard warriors out of the forum hence why you only get to see the shit threads, the rest of us that pay the membership get to be part of the forum or in the clique.

Still like you say looking at someone cutting half there car to pieces to replace the fucking rust and then spending thousands on a car thats worth 30p once finished instead of running the piece of shit in is far more interesting isn't it.
