Insurance and the Nurburgring?
I'm planning on heading out around Easter but want to ensure I'm covered should the unthinkable happen. My insurers have unsurprisingly added the tenuous clause that they exclude the Nurburgring from my cover. Under German law I am to drive with minimum 3rd part cover (or their equivalent) on any road, technically the Nurburgring is a toll road. If I add track insurance it only seems to cover my vehicle and not 3rd party claims for damage to other cars or the circuit.
I know there area few Ring veterans on here so your advice would be really helpful. Don't want to turn a trip of a lifetime into a trip that ruins my life.

As Steve above has said. I have looked into this as planning on going in September. You can get some insurance but tbh it's very expensive £500, and excess is 2k ish and only cover to 20k.
As I'm getting new frs I going be be scared and now might do the trip, however only take the car on the track for 2-3 laps only.
