Default Declaring accidents

I'm assuming I'm going to have to declare this accident I've been involved in with the drunk driver who's hit the bus I was driving yes?

And while it shouldn't make a difference hire much difference will it actually make note that I've got my renewal tomorrow?

It's a work vehicle not in your name or insured by you that someone hit. All it will do is give them an excuse to charge more

its not a difficult question

"have you been involved an an accident, fault or non fault in the last 5 years?"

you either have or you haven't

in your case you can be honest or commit insurance fraud.

i've taken option 1 (chuck's) and told them

they've said james is right but they won't charge me more

yay me

but thanks for the input guys, if it had made a difference i would have probably not had a 3rd car to drive about in

your better to declare it now, and explain the circumstances than wait till you make a claim and find you have no insurance and be personally liable for a massive bill

they say they wont but they might.

I had a non fault accident a while back and they were not going to put the premium up, on renewal they did, I asked why and they said someone involved in an accident are more likely to be in another one.

That's the best option Dojj, you must answer honestly as if not they may not pay out and it is fraud.

I no longer declare that my car is garaged though as if you leave the car on the drive for just one night and it goes missing then they will not pay out., it is fine if left out at a friends, it is only the norm that they are interested in.

The worst thing about it all is that id gone 9 years without a prang and now fit the next 5 years I'll have to full that section in

Going to fund out tomorrow if the company will appoint someone to look into the accident or if I'll have to chase some compo for time off myself

And I've got two weeks holiday coming as well

Bollocks
