Default Classic car insurance on a rs2000

Can I insure my 1996 rs2000 on classic car insurance?

Did a quote a few weeks back(Adrian flux) I think and they quoted me but then people say it has to be 20 years old?

Anyone know?

I had classic ins cover on your rs2000 stu so its 100% available from paul at need2insure, not 100% on 2wd's as they are not as rare but you never know so give them a call

Hi,
Just to let you know that we have schemes that can cater for any age of vehicle on classic style policies. We shouldn't have any real issues insuring a 1996 RS model.
Regards,
Dan.

Ok so with my previous insurance with Lancaster, they don't ask for no claims bonus proof nor do they accept it so they sent me proof of 1 years no claims with them at the end of the policy which is fair do's and I had proof of 5 years prior to that, so send off both sheets with proof to Adrian flux who won't accept it... They say they have cancelled my policy because it has to be 6 years on 1 sheet, then 2 months later they are contacting me asking why I haven't payed my second month of insurance with them and threatening me with debt collectors etc, Adrian flux might give cheap quotes but it's just like buying a car you don't know how shit it is until you've got it and Adrian flux is a very poor service currently going through small claims to get my money back as they threatened my credit score to get me to pay the second month

Were you able to get a quote from Hagerty? I know they are also into classic car insurance. You might also want to read something about car insurance coverage characteristics for more info.
