Default Modified classic car?

Hi all,
Bit of a weird one but it's confusing the life out of me,
Can a modified car (fiesta rs) still be insured under a classic car policy?
Iv 2 other cars so this would be a used once in a blue moon probably just for shows so paying for a modified policy seems a bit much
Cheers

I have my H plate Series 2 on a classic policy with Lancaster Insurance. Have a limited mileage to 3000, and pay 150 a year fully comp.

From experience, some classic insurance companies don't allow modifications, some a allow a few and some allow anything. Ask around.

My Cortina with ALL mods declared and agreed valuation is Ł350 with Adrian Flux.

Yes modifying classic cars is now in fashion and I do not think it is a bad thing.
