Default insurance help

hi all, i have been driving a mobility car now for 4years and have had no accidents,sadly my mother passed away in Sept and the car has gone back.I have contacted the insurance for prof of no claims discount only to be told that they don't do that as such,they are gone to send me out a letter stating that ive had no accidents in this time.my problem is iam looking to buy a sapphire cosworth but how will i go about getting insurance ?? with only a letter of prof from mobility insurance.Any help would be great.

Your best bet is to get in touch with insurance companies and tell them this, and also get a copy of that letter sent to whichever insurance company you will be dealing with, even if they cant give you 4 years NCB they can take into account that you've been driving for 4 year with no accidents, so hopefully the premium shouldn't be too high. HTH

To be fair I insure my car on a classic policy and they dont take no claims into consideration, only ask about accidents and convictions so if your planning on a classic policy it shouldn't matter

which would be the best way to go about it ? classic policy or normal ?? got any names of insurance company's i could try ?? cheers

Try need to insure or footman James, or greenlight, if you going to do less than 6k a year classic would be perfect
