Default had a crash, need help please!!!!

hi peeps, i was involved in a low speed collision last week. i went to go round a stopped vehicle and slid into the back of it due to the ice.i was only doing approximately 20mph. the company inspecting the vehicle said one of the rear tyres was past the limit although i didnt think it was,as they were checked and i had just had two new tyres on the front. will they invalidate my insurance because of this rear tyre. im a little concerned.

the garage giving the quote said it, he said on the phone it might lower the value of the vehicle? he phoned me before he put the repair quote through to my insurance.

The biggest question - apart from who inspected it, as said - is did they take pictures of the offending tyre? If they didn't, then you get a legal part worn put on it.

id say the guy was doing you a favour, you should have asked him if he could stick another tyre on it for you....
