Default Ridiculous insurance problems and quote. Help needed

Me, my mum and dad are all on a traders insurance policy
Up until recently we were paying £2k a year, then my dad had a crash which put it up to £3500 a year.
Then someone walked into the side of my mum but no claims were made by us or the tit who walked into her.
The price didn't change as nobody claimed.

Now we have had someone say we crashed into them, but this didn't happen!
Direct line have told my insurance company about this "accident" but can't even tell them the road it happened on.

Due to this our renewal came through for next year at £10k

Can anyone recomend me another insurer to try.
We've been with trader 11yrs and these are the only "claims" we've had.

I own my m3, r5 gtt cab, cossie r5 and a van, dads got a van and m3, mums got a yaris.
So individual policy's would cost me a fortune lol.

My mum should prob get her own.
Me and dad used to regularly swap vans but very do now so prob dont need traders any more.
Who would be able to give me a decent quote for all mine tho?

its worth speaking to someone like paul at need2insure because even if he cant offer you a policy he may well be able to put you in contact with someone that can, as hes a sound bloke and a car enthusiast like all of us

Well it would be fraud if it is false so should be investigated.

You dont need to be in an accident to have a claim. You may have caused a problem without knowing anything about it so best check it out you may be as shocked as i was at the following back in 1964.
My rear passenger opened & closed the rear door ( only a few inches im told ) of my car it caused a guy on a scooter to swerve, didnt hit me so not invoved. 6 months later a claim was made against my insurance for 6 months wages + compensation. In law i was responsible for my passenger even though i didnt know it had happened . It went to court my passenger was fined for negligence & muggins was responsible .
