I did have a classic policy on a Ferrari 348 and its true they don't actually rack up no claims.

I think thats how all classic insurance works TBH

same here they dont use your no claims bonus when you take out
a classic policy, so you dont build any no claims up on a classic policy.

same sort of thing happend with me, i got a quote online of peter best on a e30, quote came back at 400quid so i went and bought my e30

rang them up to pay for it to for them to say that theyve changed there policy so you now have to be 25 to get insured by them and my new quote was 3k!

had a argument with the woman saying why havnt you updated the site for them to say they havnt got round to it!

i slammed the phone down and went and paid for the policy online haha.

went out in my car and the next day i get a email to say im not insured haha.. it was worth a try though

Not really the same but,

Im only 18 so i know the insurance will be extortionate anyway, but i got a quote for Ł1800 on my escort. Couldn't afford it at the time so left it. Had my compensation money come through so went back onto the web site to take it out and it had one up too Ł3800.

I rang up for an explanation and she said "It's just how it goes"

Yeah it goes up by 2 grand in like 2 weeks?

Joke.

pretty standard for a classic policy, no no claims can be earned.

you can earn no claims on certain insurance companies, as i currently do.

I got an insurance quote through adrian flux and told them i had to be gaining my NCB aswell and for them to find me a company that can do that.

One year i was with need2insure and i was never told at the point of buying my insurance would not gain NCB so ever since i have always checked this.

My insurance company through adrian flux is Trinity Lane insurance

hope this helps
