back in about 1990 ish, there used to be cans of milk in the shops, anyone else remember it...remember me and mate at school telling the teacher, he was like milk? in a can? , get some and fetch it in..

no not condensed, was like a normal pint of milk but in cans, think they were white and blue....didnt seem to be around for that long..

hehe well i found a can on ebay so had to have it, it came today...use by date of august 1986...oh yeah...well its empty, drain hole in bottom...but man, thought id be going mad, as no one else remembers it...

i remember buying that. iirc it was about 15-20p. even the ring pull is a bit of a flash back. quite often the tab would snap off..had to find something to knock the seal open.usually a stone etc ha

As a slight diversion, I recall the little 1/3 of a pint bottles of milk that we used to get at Prep School, I believe Mrs Thatcher removed this perk sometime in the 1980's for the state schools.
