The story goes like this

2002 renault espace 2.2 DCI comes into work for a service, tracking, tyres and to check it for lacking power, So i take it for a drive and lack of power was an understatment it would hardly move,

Well i code read it and it comes up with mass air flow meter so I thought this could be the cause if its in limp mode, So I get one ordered. Next I put it in the air to check the rest of it over and i thought the exhaust sounded like it was leaking near the front so I had a good look and found something missing could not believe my bloody eyes,

Oil return blocked off with wood

oil feed out of block

The ower had only had it 4 days but it looks like its been like this a while the old owner must have known, god knows how they sleep at night selling motor like that.

Other faults on the car are wheel bearing engine mount 2 tyres needed.

God knows, its so bad I can't see you thinking oh maybe a service will sort it and buy it any way, I drove a mile and a half in it flat out every gear and go it 65mph top speed and it took that hole mile and a half to get the that speed, I dont think you'd get 30 at santa pod.

I went to look at a 2.5 TDI A6 a while ago soon as i drove it i knew something was up and it wasn't half as bad as the espace he knocked a grand off the price for me but I still walked away.

It must have took a bit of work its not the easyest thing to get to, I'm going to take that plate out of the exhaust housing tomorrow and see what it is they have used, they could have made a better job of the oil return tho. it needs most of the boost pipes to some are missing others cut and joined.
