the stuff motec can do is purely mindblowing, and im sure it is on t6 and autronic, but i've never seen these ECU's pushed anywhere near the capabilities.

i.e running these on a standardish road car, is like buying a veyron to drive at 30mph everywhere, your using nothing like what its designed to be used for.

just my 2 pence worth

Whilst we are having a chat on a mega old thread about ECU's. Im still gob smacked why people never consider GEMS units ?
Although Will has mentioned the AEM which is basically a GEMS unit in disguise,

The prices V functions far outweigh anything mentioned here, and the support I have had has been outstanding, had a few programmes re-writen and new functions added at my request.

Just a quick comparison v the only price quoted, the Gems v the Life racing with equal functions is £1000 less and the software is just as good for mapping/data logging
