oh yeah, so stupid, all i done was move forward abit cos a bus was turning into a road but had to reverse out cos there was another car parked on the corner of the road so he couldn't turn right in, and once i;d moved my back wheels were in the yellow box, and the rshole pulled me over, an said u know why i'm pullin u over an he says box junction. I was about to call him a wnaker, but stop, he says u'll have a fine, and i need to do a producer. DOne same day, so thought it was the end of.

Sadly not, about a week ago, i get a summons to court for being in a box junction, nothing else or no other corresponence, just an invitation to court.

to be honest i don't even know why i'm going. The police station where i done the producer, gave me the tick sheet, to show that i have done the producer and all is well. They said your probably being asked to court to pay a penalty charge notice.

all this makes u really wanna break the law. bunch of wnakers!

not a happy bunny especially as some peeps have said you'll probably get 3 points and a fine aswell

http://www.london.gov.uk/assembly/re...rt/parking.pdf

Was you parked ? The info in the pdf above (June 2005) states its upto a £100 fine.

Ref 2.12 states its decriminalised enforcement since 2003, so you shouldn't get points

**Edit"" Top bit was typed whist you were typing the above

i had moved forward so the bus could back out, so my back wheels were staitionary in the box. Seems so petty. The summons sheet states its a criminal offence i think.

tell them you was attempting to turn right as the highway code states the following:

Box Junctons

You should only enter a box junction if your exit is clear or you are waiting to turn right and your exit is blocked

magistrates will then throw it out as there is no case to answer

its differebt in central london to the rest of the countrym the council has to apply to have it decriminalised otherwise its still criminl which means going to court o ya wasnt done in central london

central london is enforced by NCP who also do the parking and congestion charge

there the wierd looking imgarants standing on the corners and all the do is make a note of ya reg and then the fine gets posted

so ya have been done where its not decriminaised

the reason for decriminalisation is to free up the courts time ( bollocks its to make more people pay as ya get the fine and either pay it or write a appeal to the fucking company that issued it and if ya not happy then TCFL but either way ya not in court or actualy have to turn up

anyway i cant remember if its 3 point or not

i know that parking on white zigzags can be issued by either the police adn receive 3 points or the councilm and just recive a fine

The world's just gone mad

Keith m8...hope all's well apart from this cr@p!

Seeing as you have already gone to court I'd just tell the truth and say that you were trying to help out the Bus/public and for being a good citizen and all that you get caned! Unbelievably petty....you'd get less for having an incorrect no. plate on your car for God's sake!

If you have house insurance or AA cover you'll have a legal advice line or cover with it. Just give 'em a call.

Makes you hate the law

thing is just to have it done an dusted i'll pay the fine, but i aint having no points when i have done nothing wrong delibrately or un-knowingly. Only done it to help the bloody bus, plus the other fact the way he was reversing didn't fill me and my drivers side front wing with great confidence.
