Default Replacing clutch, Difficult??? Also which clutch

After my first drive of my new sapphire 2wd (to the MOT station) it was evident that the clutch slips under heavy acc.

I've read though the work shop manual to see how its done and it doesn't seem to bad.

Is it difficult to actually do though?? Do most of you guys do it yourself??

I've done engine conversions/gearboxs +most things on a Peugeot 205. But these always seem easy to work on

Also will a worn clutch make it difficult to engage gears (particully from 5th to 4th and entering third.

I have a new Motorcraft standard clutch which I would ideally like to use. Would this be suitable for a 330 bhp engine???

Thanks
Stew

330bhp will be ok for that clutch BUT seeing as you are taken it out If it was me I would go the 6 plate paddle with standard pressure plate JUST incase you were to up the bhp some time

regarding the down shifting etc I would say that there is a problem waiting to get WORSE so get that checked out b4 you put it back(bulk rings or worn sycros etc!

taking the g/box out of a 2 w/d Cos isn't too difficult m8
