Default Thinking about buying this.

Been hovering over this twin turbo Monaro for a while and am thinking about looking at it but just wondered what you guys thought???

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-M...8AAOSwYIxX-Nde

My thoughts are wtf can you get with 700bhp and sound like this for 15k?

I do like the monaros and have driven a standard ish one before and thought that was quick so this thing must be mental

Unless anyone has a 3dr cossie they wanna sell me cheap

I don't regret selling the 3dr mate but I could be persuaded to buy another I think

I quite like the styling of the Monaro but I go to aus nearly ever year so think they've grown on me plus I love a noisey v8 I just think it's a shit load of car for not allot of money and I can abuse it

A lot of power for your money but not a fan of the styling inside or out. You'd get a good Impreza or evo for that money Rich

My Brother in law worked in the Holden factory in Elizabeth where they made the Australian Monaro and he says they are well put together and offer one hell of a car for the money!! They were not mass produced and had the best of everything put into them.

When I was working in Sydney, I had it in my head that I was going to get a Maloo for work. Never did happen and I returned to Scotland but the ute will always hold a special place in my heart.

Also did the parade lap around Bathurst in the passenger seat of my buddies
FPV ute with 2 of the v8 drivers standing in the back, they're all mad for the big engines over there

Over here they are called the Pontiac GTO. I almost bought one and the ones you see on the road are always modded. Ready to eat alive a Mustang or Challenger. Fine cars they are.....for 15k? Of course I would.

I'm ford daft. Love cosies. But have a soft spot for those. If it was black I'd be all over it. Not got good luck with silver cars for some reason lol.
A lot of fun for the money I would say

This is gonna sound funny but I think I'd rather have a supercharged one with a bit less horsepower as this thing is just going to light up in every gear where at least the supercharged is even power delivery but will still move.

Guy I know bought 1 new but a 4 door. I HATE Vauxhalls but he had that for 2 years and never had any bother with it. Well apart from a dangerous driving charge. Had a blast of it a couple of times and for a car of its size it loved getting thrown about. I expected to condem it after a proper drive of it but it was an awesome car to drive. Just a shame about the badge
