Default Took the sapp cossie out

Not driven the cossie since ford fair so decided to take it for a long blast, I pulled up into Fords to take a couple of pictures and a few ford boys came out to take a look and chat, it did put a massive smile on my face. It was a moody day so the moonstone blue stood out!

Looks tidy! I've been looking at sapphs for sale a lot recently but can't decide wether i'd be better with a sapph or keep my M3. M3 Is depreciating every day but is fun, fast, comfortable....cossie's going up in price so would be an investment. not an easy choice!

The appreciating value wouldn't sway me one way as you buy them to drive and enjoy, if you like oldskool pin into your seat it's a no brainer

A nice Saff will always draw a crowd. A few years back took my Daughter in my 2wd to have a test drive in a new Focus RS at a big Ford dealers in Southampton. Parked it outside and when we came back there were loads of the staff all looking at it and asking me questions about it and saying how nice it looked for a 1990 car.
Most of their mechanics have never worked on one and these days not many would know where to start if you took it there with a problem.

Well it's nice to know when you're spending 15K on an old sierra it won't lose any money if you keep it decent! and unless you buy a modified car it's not going to be that quick in comparison. definitely miss having a turbo car for the kick in the arse, bm goes well just doesn't have torque or feel of an old car but does have heated seats etc

Lovely Saff you have there!!

New modern motors (especially Ford ST's, RS's and the Mustang) are lovely but you cannot beat the old skool stuff.

It's great when you see an old car on the road, especially when it's a old Ford!!
