Anyone seen one recently? Been doing some research into them and I've not seen one up for sale for years. Wouldn't mind doing a resto on one as a mini project while I'm building my 3dr.

I would imagine most of them went in the iron like most mk1 mondeos did

I've got a citrine yellow saph cos lol. Know of a guy round this way that has a citrine mondeo he takes to shows etc.

Always wanted one in Citrine Yellow lol. Guy on Retro Rides is restoring a fairly famous one, think it was featured in all of the brochures etc and was a special RSi edition?

Sure there is a pic in the abandoned Fords thread of a yard with 5 or 6 of them in it?

hendy ford did the RSi dealer edition, a citrine yellow si with lowered suspension and graphics iirc, they offered uprated cams as an option. only 10 were made

Love the colour, not so fussed about a 136bhp mondeo. Always remember folk having their cars painted in this colour back in the day and I expect if I'd been flush I'd have had my pimped escort van done in it when I was 17

Didn't they have an adjustable suspension control which failed commonly, but the replacement part was obsolete?

Used to be one near me when I was at school, naturally as 14/15 year olds we thought it was cool, I know they're 22/23 years old now but in that colour they've not aged well.

The school librarian had a white saloon with the arch spats and the RS 7 spokes that looked much better even back then.

my uncle had one, had enamel black wheels, limo window tints all round so you could see fuck all out of it at night, was like a wasp on wheels. it was used in a lot of press back in the day, L... pvx if i remember rightly. cool car in it's day.

Used to have one back around 2003 with RS body kit and twin exhaust ststem. Cost me Ł800 at the time and lasted me 2 years before going for scrap.

I know of a rough one thats probably for sale, its missing its interior though as one of the previous owners striped it to make it a track car but never went any further.
