We have all heard of the horror stories of peoples cars getting tracked by thieves by placing devices on cars at shows or out on the street/driveways etc, but the tracking devices have not been so mainstream but they are now, yes its a great idea and very cheap for the owner but from a crooks point of view christmas has come early for around £20 and are listed now all over the internet and are selling like wildfire and install in seconds so be on your guard

As said a good idea if your car is stolen. Its also a great idea for car thieves to find the cars.

Steppy a couple of guys at work use them to disable the van trackers and they told me it also disables phone signal and I'd imagine it would affect the sat nav as well.

Glad it's been outed as I would of not noticed on my car, only underneath it when I break it lol.

the tracker if found placed on a target car would also be a very good way to lure potential thieves to a wee surprise....not that i would or could condone this ......

I have said this since the one that was found come to light, put the tracker in a random garage, lie in wait and give them a good kicking because of course when you disturbed them they reached into their pocket/jacket in a threatening manner while heading towards you and you feared for your life as you thought you were going to get stabbed
