Mk1 connect

Hi all I would just like to know if a mk6 fiesta uses the same front suspension to a mk1 transit connect?

I dont think they do matey. The connects have the ball joint on the bottom of the hub where the mk6 fiesta has the ball joint on the bottom arm.

Does that mean the whole strut is different ? Or just the position of the ball joint ?
