Default Norris design twincharged set up

Does anybody keep track of the simon norris and his team? The latest engine development seems like they have finally finished it and will have worked out a price to sell in the next couple of weeks.

1250bhp zero lag and 2000-9000rpm power band, that sounds awsome i cant wait to see videos of this once its in the car being tested

car is a short wheel-base Evo 9 called the Swevo. used to be green and 950bhp and very fast.

my mate works for ND and rebuilt the spaceframe front end, made all the pipework and some other fabrication he has done on the car.

anyway, vids

I always remember when the SWB Evo first came out it had a bad problem launching in a straight line - I've never kept up to date with it since then, I expect they sorted that out

Yep, he solved it by turning the engine round and losing the transverse 'box.

He lives literally 2 mins along the road from me, used to see him out on the backroads with the evo occasionally, not seen it in years tho!

As for the norris evo, id love to know the cost of that set up!

Easily well north of Ł200k..and then some

The amount of time, R&D etc etc and then actual man hours fabricating, building, etc etc for any car like that is crazy.
If you were paying full whack on man hours, you could probably stick another 100k onto it over the years with the many builds and rebuilds

Two very different ways of skinning a cat so to speak ( weird saying )

Andy will have the advantage of a larger engine though, and with the new drivetrain setup....another all round advantage.
And above all others...Andy really does know how to make stuff go fucking fast and on a relatively modest budget.

Neither are cheap cars by a longshot, but Andy's will definitely cost much much less than the Evo

theres a few out there that he's done already.
I think his demo Evo is Version 3 of the setup. Crazy, crazy thing.
