My oil pump started dieing since my car when for mapping and 4x4 oil pumps are hard to find good ones who's using 2wd one in 4b engines as their all OK I'll only needs pick up pipes and spray bar
Just fit a std pump, they don't need high pressure.
I was talking to my mate the other day about this. We know of a mates rst that has done 2 engines with burton powers high pressure oil pumps and now someone he knows new build yb has done the same thing on a burton high pressure pump :-( lasted less that 10 miles before it went tits up

Like I said they do not need high pressure, why increase the amount of friction on the bearings to begin with?
Run the least amount of pressure you need to do the job intended, any more is attributing to friction and heat.
Please don`t forget that pressure is a measurement of RESISTANCE to flow. The ONLY way a pump creates oil pressure is with flow, It`s the clearances in the bearing surfaces that creates pressure, i.e resistance to flow
Don't fit a standard pinto pump with a cosworth lid, I stupidly did and didn't even drive the car before I took it back out. It only went up to 40psi and did so very slowly.
Happy with my unrated pump.
P.S I didn't know you could run a 2wd pump in a 4x4 sump even with the proper spray bar.
