Besides, the guys on the gate are just there doing a job and they will want the least amount of agro as possible, although last year they had to sell me a free ticket for junior
Don't blame the guys on the gate though, just say you've paid and you have proof, what can they do?
Don't you believe it. I had a pass last year which had torn almost all the way through, so I left it on the top of the dash. The person at the 1st gate almost caused a crash by walking out in front of me as I was turning in and demanded that I hang it up or I would not be let in, even though he admitted he could see it fine. When I declined due to it being broken, he then grabbed it, forced his way in the window to hang it there himself, breaking the pass completely.
He moved when I drove forward and ran his foot over as he leant back out afterwards. The next person tried to have the same argument until I told them to go see the 1st person. In the end, I just drove round every person until I got to the stand with Steve waiting there.
I received an email last week confirming our details, cars, regs, models and camping etc. everything seemed fine.
It's said in the email that all tickets and passes will be emailed out five days before the event.
I replied to the email asking if I could have them earlier as some people are on holiday, some are visiting parents near the venue and need the tickets before travelling etc.
Anything later is going to be a proper ball ache if I only have five days to print them and post them to people.
Are they holding them back because they can be copied or forged, surely they'll all be barcoded ???
I see this as a valid argument on the other thread about the Internet and mobile phones. I imagine their saving a fortune not having to actually print and post tickets which is good for them but crap for us! I'm getting fed up of paying full whack prices to display my own
Car whereas without our cars they wouldn't have a show. A good example is castle Combe action days where display cars were free entry, now they want £15 a car I haven't bothered going since.
I have just send them an email asking when i will get my tickets.
Also mentioned that according to my receipt, i should have got them 2 weeks before the show.
Let`s see how they react, it can`t be too hard to just send them out.
If i don`t get them by next Wednesday, i just take a few copies of my receipt with me, that will have to do @ the gate then..(and @ the track too)
Rang again today that's the fourth working day I've rang all I'm trying to find out is where I he individual stand is going to be as I missed passionford's stand pass cut off date they have had my number 3 times now we will call you back blah blah blah loada dog shite there useless just a big money making joke
What about track time tickets - whats the score with them? not had an email with the ticket only the receipt
I take it when booking track time and the tickets coming by email, that you won't receive an information booklet like where to go ect like previous times?
When I did it about 3 years ago, I got a big envelope packed with stuff like maps and general information.

Just do what we do mate and ignore the lot of them and drive down to the pit entry point there's always plenty of space to park down there. No way am I leaving my car on the other side of the show to have to fetch it every time I go out on track.
got my ticket and pass via e mail today all printed off,gonna get out the scissors and cut out the stand pass,dotted lines are provided as a guide,not sure, about the hole in the middle,looks tricky,must be careful not to damage it.
Your spot on mate, I nearly went and used photo quality paper which is a bit thicker cos I do know some people like to keep this sort of thing and ticket Stubbs just as a little momento of the day.
I've kept a few odds and sods like that myself over the years.

It appears cash rules and they're squeezing every last penny out of it
I just wonder if there's any other corner cutting or money saving awaiting us on the day

prices have gone up plus they take a extra £2 per booking then a few ink cartridges & paper, we must be mad
