Default recommend me a classic car insurance company

I need an insurance policy for my rover, must mirror ncbd, it will only do about 2k a year so was hoping I could get a classic policy as its 20years old now.
Who do you recommend?

I was advised of ClassicLine Insurance who came back with a stonking £270 and an apology from the lovely lady as it was that high because of the roll cage.

I'm with sure term direct, never had to claim or anything but they were helpful in setting up the policy and renewing every year. Pay £20 a month to insure the cossie fully comp

Another one here with Footman James, never had to claim so can't say how good they actually are but came recommended and I pay £185 for the Cossie with an agreed valuation. I did previously just have it on my traders policy but wanted to agree value as it appears to have gone up a bit. Didn't ask for NCB which I believe is quite normal for classic policies.

Please excuse slight diversion but my experience trying to insure modern(ish) classic, 1992 Saab 900 Turbo, was that once you have answered all their questions and it becomes apparent that you intend to actually use the car they become quite uncompetitive. So classic car insurance is really only for folk that can accept severe restrictions on use

Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. If you wanted to PM me some contact details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.
Regards,
Dan.

Adrian Flux this year as they are the only ones that wanted to insure me

ironically i was insured with them for the first year of my cossie ownership back in 2002 on my old moonstoner and had to make a claim which they dealt with perfectly so no complaints from me

I'm on limited mileage at 3500 a year but I never touch that amount and I'm not allowed to use it for commuting
